Light Weight

Light weight shields tend to give less parry bonus to its equivalent heavy shield, however they will not weigh you down as much as the heavy ones would.

High Parry

High parry bonus shields tend to weigh more, and thus affect you in more ways than just raising your parry bonus (i.e more weight carried, lower dodge bonus).
